The Village of Juízo
Juízo is a typical village Beirã belonging to the parish of Vale do Côa, municipality of Pinhel. Located between Ribeira do Porquinho (1Km) and Ribeira do Massueime (1,5Kms) is crossed by a stream in the center. Already very unpopulated, is a rural village surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and almond orchards. On the banks of the river there are vegetable-gardens, where they produce a wide variety of agricultural products, and swamps with ash trees. In livestock predominates the sheep. We often see the flocks of sheep cross the village.
Juízo has maintained over time, all the architectural characteristics, with the majority of your facades in yellow granite. Has 2 chapels, several wineries, community oven, diving fountain, «cortelhos», vegetable-gardens. The transit passes out of the village center which gives it a calm and welcoming environment.
